Dr. Neville Lewis
Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgery
Dr. Lewis received his medical degree from
the university of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Following surgical residency at Cincinnati
Dr. Lewis served the native population of
Alaska as a commissioned surgical officer in
the United States Public Health Service.
Dr. Lewis completed residency in
surgery at Duke University Medical Center
Research fellowship and clinical instructorship
in Hand and Upper Extremity Reconstructive
Surgery at the University of Colorado Health
Sciences Center in Denver.
He has practiced in Tacoma since 1986.
Dr. Lewis is certified by the American Board of
Fellow and member of the American Academy
Orthopaedic Surgery, the American College
of Surgeons and the American Society for
Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. Lewis holds the Certificate of Added
Qualifications in Hand Surgery from the
American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and
devotes a large portion of his practice to the
rehabilitation and surgical correction of injured,
arthritic and congenitally deformed hands.
In addition, Dr. Lewis is an instructor of
Orthopaedic Medicine for the Tacoma Family
Practice Residency Program. He also
specializes in diagnosis, treatment and
surgery for the shoulder, hip and knee as well
as sports injuries.
